The cost of production is defined in the Customs Tariff. The cost of production does not include the following cost elements except one. Which if the following is appropriate to be included in the cost of production:

Any duties and taxes paid or payable on imported materials used to manufacture the finished goods.

Royalties

Gross profit of the manufacturer or exporter

The profit or renumeration of any person dealing in the article in its finished manufactured condition.

Factory overhead.
