The Cougars are playing their homecoming game against their cross-town rivals, the Chargers. All the pregame festivities have ended, and now the teams-more accurately, the coaches-decide it's time for some pregame head games. Neither team wants to go onto the field. The Cougars, with the bleachers packed with homecoming fans, want the Chargers to enter the field first. And the Chargers, not wanting to allow the Cougars the opportunity for one last huge cheer just before game time, decide to wait out their hosts. So both teams just stand there, not budging. Obviously, one of the teams must take the field. Yet, just as clearly, neither of them is about to take the field until the officials force them to make a move. Who must go on the field first? The visiting Chargers or the home-standing Cougars?
