EatAmaze plans to outsource the delivery of food to another company. The delivery of materials (for example, flour, noodles, chicken) for food preparation will also be done via the food delivery platform. The management of EatAmaze expects the network and storage resources of its food delivery platform to be functional at all time. Specifically, customers must not experience any delays in their online food orders even when there is a huge increase in the orders. The management also plans to use the food delivery platform to advertise its food. It is also looking at various options of how service and relationship with customers can be improved through ITs. The management will also train its service personnel to handle customers' online feedback. Given that EatAmaze will be closing a few of its outlets to cut costs, the company will also be retrenching some of its staff. One of the management membersMary proposed to compensate the to-be-retrenched employees by offering some monetary benefits based on the number of years the employees worked at the company.
