The current tourism industry booms in Australia had given the HR department at ANIBT Hotel the

opportunity to employ a very diverse range of ethnic employees for all levels of the industry. This

provided a great opportunity for ANIBT Hotel to meet its ANIBT Hotel Diversity Policy

On three occasions there has been complaints lodged with the HR department from various diverse

individuals that have stated that there has been some people on the F & B team that have not been

resecting the diverse culture between the F & B team and feel that the have been excluded because

of this. It has become obvious that staff is not aware of the ANIBT Hotel Diversity Policy.

As the Food and Beverage Manager for ANIBT hotel you have been asked to carefully review the

updated ANIBT Hotel Diversity Policy and conduct a video presentation to the F & B team that focuses on the diversity of employees in the workforce at ANIBT Hotel. Your video presentation must cover the

following areas

a) Discuss the benefits and challenges of workplace diversity at ANIBT Hotel

b) Describe how you will been a role model for others through individual behaviour that demonstrates respect for diversity at ANIBT Hotel

c) Discuss ANIBT Hotel's commitment to Diversity

d) What does Diversity mean to ANIBT Hotel and how staff could demonstrate this?
