The customized Bed industry was the last organization I worked for that used a warehouse. I was in sales and structure' The warehouse was in another location. As the store manager, I had to consider the flow of customers over a period (month) and understand the characteristics of the customers coming into our location. I knew people were coming into the store because they had a need or a want; it was up to me and my associates to figure out what they were and get The Customer what they needed. The volume of customer contact and sales close rate would dictate my forecast for the period ( Grabowski, Malhotra). Is this a valid point
