To me, the graph below looks to be exponential. The equation will then be used to make predictions on CO2 emissions in the future if trends continue. The equation doesn't have to be exact but it has to be close enough that it follows the overall trend and looks similar. Exponential equations needs to be in the form of (i think) y = a f (k (x-d) ) + c Please describe in detail how you were able to get the transformations. Example: a, k, d, and c Horizontal and vertical shifts are c and d values. Then solve for the base and the vertical and horizontal stretch/compression.
