The data for this assignment is taken from the "Health Behavior in School-Aged Children (HBSC), 2009-2010." The codebook for this assignment is available in the Toolbox. It would be useful to your completing the assignment to review the questions selected for this exercise. Those questions are: Q1; Q3; Q4; Q6 Race-comp; Q7; Q18_TV Watch-comp; Q19; Q66a; & Q66c. Only a portion of the 12,643 respondents are in this database. Nine variables were selected for assignment. You will notice the letter "X" in some of the cells. This is due to in the original database missing values were coded as "-9". The assignment should be no more than 5 doublespaced pages. Also include screenshots or copy & paste the excel output for the correlations and T-Tests.

1) What is the total number of females and males in this sample? What is the racial breakdown of the respondents? What is the mode for both gender and race?

2) What is the mean, median, mode, and standard deviation of the participant's age? Briefly interpret what these Measures of Central Tendency and Variability say about the respondent.

3) What is the strength of the correlations between age, life satisfaction, bullied (called names), and bullied (hit, pushed). Interpret the correlations.

4) What is the strength of the correlations between age, grade, TV time, and physically activity? Interpret the correlations.

5) Using gender as the independent variable, conduct an Independent T-Test using life satisfaction, TV watching time, bullied (names), and bullied (pushed, hit). Report and interpret the significant findings (p<.05). 6) Overall, what would you report to the public at large about the Health Behavior status of school-age children based on your findings?
