The data one has decided to work with for this course is from the General Social Survey (GSS) website. The study focuses on understanding how nurse manager effectiveness and supervisor support impact nurse burnout in the Northeast region of the United States of America. By examining these relationships, "nurse managers effectiveness and supervisors support" the study aims to highlight the crucial role leadership and support play in nursing staff well-being (Fletcher & French, 2021; Lake et al.,2019).Identifying a significant link between these variables could pave the way for targeted strategies that improve nurse working conditions, reduce burnout, and enhance patient care (Schlack et al., 2921).

Research Question

How do the quality of leadership and supervisor support within healthcare settings impact the burnout levels among nurses in the Northeast region of the United States of America, and what specific aspects of leadership and support are most significantly associated with reducing burnout?

Hypotheses

Null Hypothesis (H0):

The quality of leadership (nurse manager effectiveness) and supervisor support have no statistically significant impact on the burnout levels among nurses in the northeast region of the United States, indicating that factors outside of leadership and support play a more pivotal role in nurse burnout.

Alternative Hypothesis (H1):

The quality of leadership (nurse manager effectiveness) and supervisor support significantly impact the burnout levels among nurses in the Northeast region of the United State of America, with higher quality of leadership and greater supervisor support being associated with lower levels of burnout.
