The Department of Homeland Security (Department) has faced increased scrutiny with its detention of undocumented immigrants crossing the border during the last year. Tell the Truth News has uncovered information about the Department's alleged mistreatment of some of these immigrants. This information includes allegations of covert makeshift, dilapidated detention facilities with no bedding, blankets, or pillows for the immigrants in open air chain linked "cages", minimal food distribution, no access to bathing or personal hygiene supplies, no access to legal representation, no due process measures, and other human rights concerns. The report also attests to have many of the names of the detained immigrants. The report includes detailed geographical information of border areas which have presented challenges for the agency to patrol and secure. The report details how the Mexican Drug cartels are highly organized and have been remarkably successful in crossing immigrants in these areas.

The Department's Director reports directly to the Executive Branch. The Executive Branch is attempting to block the publication of the report on National Security grounds. The Department admits that they suspect there are large numbers of immigrants that they have failed to detain in these areas. The Department admits to detaining immigrants in covert facilities but does not admit to any of the other allegations in the report. The Executive Branch alleges to have reliable, top-secret information that the immigrants they are detaining in these facilities are part of a planned terroristic threat to our nation. The Executive has declared a War on Terrorism, and the border has become ground zero of this emerging War on America. The Executive is asserting its authority to prohibit this publication on the grounds of a threat to National Security and releasing any information about this operation including the names of any detainees, the geographic areas in question, the location and details of the facilities, and any other information regarding this operation will empower our enemies in their terroristic mission.
