Strangely, discussion continues as to whether this active response to the virus is a societal degeneration into the "evils of socialism." As we progress, discussion will turn to the role of fiscal policy in our society, also of direct relevance as it appears that the national deficit may exceed $3 trillion for the year, with support from both Democrats and Republicans.
