The discussion paper and aboriginal peoples surveys provided below indicate that unemployment rate among aboriginal people in Canada is much higher than non-aboriginal people. Do some research to find out why and based on your findings provide a policy recommendation for improving economic growth in Canada by helping aboriginal people.

- Identify the characteristics of employed First Nations people and differences in the employment characteristics of women and men.

- Identify issues and constrains of the labor market for aboriginal people on both demand and supply side.

- Provide suggestion for relaxing constraints and improving economic growth by employing aboriginal people.
