The Educational Experience Paper requires you to explore the development of yourself as an informed individual. In 3-5 pages, you are to:

• Describe your experience in schools. Which ones were memorable and why? Did you attend public or private school? How would you characterize the teaching?
• Describe your response to what you were taught making sure to include any pivotal moments that helped you to understand how you learn.
• Include examples of any incidents you experienced or tensions you observed that caused you to reflect on teaching and learning.
• Answer the question: Why does school exist?
