The Executive Team at NZTA (the parent organization you report to) is about to undertake a strategic review on how it manages projects. Given your experience as Senior Project Manager for the Manawatū Gorge Project, you have been asked to prepare a report for the Executive Team that provides recommendations for the organization to improve its management of projects. Specifically, they want to improve their frameworks for project selection, improve stakeholder management, and ensure they uphold sustainable development principles.

Drawing on your experiences as a Senior Project Manager and your understanding of the academic literature (including at least six (6) peer-reviewed sources), prepare a business report for the Executive Team that recommends specific actions to improve project management for the company. Include recommendations for improvement for all of the following:

1. -approaches for managing stakeholders (this can be internal, such as project teams and/or external stakeholders)
2. -project selection
3. -sustainable project management
