The Fair Labor Standards Act requires compensation for employees' overtime, unless the employees fall under exemptions specified by the Act. Identify and discuss the three exemptions to the overtime provisions, and discuss the cases we studied to illustrate the application of exemptions. Additionally, discuss the application of the overtime provisions to on-call hours making sure to explain how these provisions applied in at least one case we studied.
