The final project for this course will be a short (3-5 page) paper over a problem that might usefully be approached using an interdisciplinary approach, and specifically by using the three disciplines that comprise your General Studies program. And 1 page of outline, comprising with the explanation of the rationale for an interdisciplinary approach to solving this problem. This will necessarily include a brief explanation of the differences among the approaches from each of the disciplines you have studied. It will also need to include a brief explanation of how using a combination of these approaches may be more fruitful than attempting a solution from a single disciplinary viewpoint.
