The five pillars of sustainable change include leadership, strategy, culture, structure and systems. As discussed previously, leadership will be essential in making the change. They must be the ones to lead the charge and hold not only the employees accountable but themselves as well. The strategy implement during the change is key, how will you roll out this change, how will you measure, who are the key personnel needed to initiate this change? Are all critical questions and a part of the strategy that will implement the change. The culture of the organization must support this change and become part of the overall vision. Employees must use this vision while carrying on their day to day tasks. How the organization will structure itself and provide appropriate systems and resources to carry out and sustain this change will be key. The five pillars are interrelated, and all depend on one another. Leaders will communicate the vision, which will in turn shape the culture and lead to the implementation of the appropriate systems and structure. All five must be aligned in order for the change to be successful and sustainable
