The five-step evolution within a team includes forming, storming, norming, performing and adjourning. I work in a call center as a representative, so there isn't really many "projects" we do as a team besides take calls. Obviously, it works better when everyone is doing their share of the work but it's based on an individual's standard. However, with a new training class that just graduated from a three-month course, the new reps are now on the floor taking their own calls. There are a group of selected, seasoned reps that have been chosen to help assist the new reps if they need guidance on anything. They can call a specific line and get pointed in the right direction. I would say this process is the closest to norming. The new hires have completed their basic level training, have done the practice, and now have the opportunity to prove they understand their role as it has been clear and accepted (Schmidt, 2021)
