The FlexiForce Sensor form Parallax Inc. is an analog output, linear, force sensor that is designed for use in the 2 lbs to 10 lbs range. It has 3 pins (5V, GND, V out). The active sensing area is a 0.475" diameter circle at the end of the sensor. The conductive leads easily connect to a breadboard or through-hole area. The Flexiforce has an ideal output for ADC conversion: 1V when 2 lbs are applied and 5V when 10 lbs are applied.
