The focus of this course, is to introduce students to the concept that people have multiple intelligences, and that intelligence is not limited to IQ, but that there is more to it than mere IQ. In fact, in the modern day, it is believed that emotional intelligence is the most coveted aspect of a successful leader.

Emotional intelligence is considered the “X” factor, that modern leaders in management positions use to achieve greater results from those they are leading.

In the second part of the leadership course, which is covered in the third semester, you will do your own leadership profile, based on your various personal leadership and personality strengths and weaknesses.

“There is no doubt that there is a connection between leadership and intelligence. However, there are various dimensions of intelligence, and this intelligence come to use in different leadership situations.”
