The following control procedure minimises the risk of incorrect or unauthorised pay rates, hours or deduction tables being used: The wage clerk reconciles the difference between the prior weeks' wages and the current weeks wages O wage packets are made up by two wage department members Pay packets and payroll is locked away until payout Wage payout must be conducted by at least two employees Payment and recording of supplier
