1. After a few years with the company, you are asked to manage an IT projects. You are confident about the technical skills you have to manage the project, yet you are concerned about morale of the company. There have been news about "right sizing", and many are worried about their future. What are some techniques that you might use to motivate your team and inspire the members? What are the things you might not want to to do?

2. The high visibility project is out of control, you, as the project manager know it, your boss knows it but prefers to stay quiet, and no one else knows about it. You feel like your career is on the line, should you keep on communicating with your direct supervisor, or escalating this to the higher management? how would you respond in this situation.
