The following information is provided for Wakanda Trading Corporation for the month of October 2022. The accounting records of the Company showed a bank balance of $3,622.00 at October 31, 2022, while the month-end balance shown on the bank statement for October 2022, downloaded from the Bank, was $13,435.00. At October 31, 2022, the Company's Bookkeeper noted that Cheques written In October 2022 but still outstanding at the end of the month were $8,000.00. The Bookkeeper also noted that based on the Bank Reconciliation for September 2022, there were also still cheques outstanding of $3,200.00. The Bookkeeper realized that Deposits recorded by the Company for October 29 and October 31,2022 of $3,500.00 and $3,700.00 respectively were not reflected on the bank statement of the Company at October 31, 2022. In comparing the Company records against the information noted on the Bank Statements, the Bookkeeper documented the following: - A cheque received from C. Thiefert for $700.00 was not honoured by his Bank and was returned to the Company by its Bank during October 2022. This cheque was in part settlement of the customer's account balance with the Company. - Company Cheque No. 1580 issued in October 2022 for $891.00 was correctly issued and paid by Bank, however, it was noted that the amount entered in the Company's Cash Payments Journal for $819.00. This Cheque was issued for a payment related to Repairs and Maintenance Expense. Bank service charge noted on the Company's Bank Statements at October 31, 2022 was $65.00 A deposit was seen on the Company's Bank Statement for October of $2,500.00. On further investigation, it was revealed that this deposit was not made by the Company. - The Bank collected a Note Receivable of October 31, 2022 for the Company for $4,000.00 plus $150.00 of interest.
