The following observations are made when CO adsorbs on vandium $(100)($structure bcc$).$ The LEED pattern analysis reveals a $(2$ x $2)$ structure at a fractional coverage of $0=1/4,$ and a $(2$ x $1)$ structure at $8=1/2.$ Draw the structure of CO on V at these two coverages.
