The following system supplies a light office working space (location 5) with 3000 m3/min of conditioned air at 21\\\\deg C and f=50% when the outside air (location 1) is at 31\\\\deg C and f=56%. Air may be recirculated from the conditioned space (location 6) at 24\\\\deg C and f=50%. Dampers A and B are open, one sixth (1/6) total mass flow is recirculated to the coiling coils, one sixth (1/6) is recirculated to the heating coil and two thirds (2/3) is from the outside. Using principles of psychrometrics and air conditioning for the system at a pressure of 101.325 kPa, determine (a) the mass flow rate of condensed water out of the drain in units of kg/sec, (b) the cooling load of the coils after (2) in units of kW, and (c) heating load of the heater after (4) in units of kW. Assume that the condensate drain water is at the same temperature as the air-water mixture at (3).
