Writing Format: You can think that you are writing a ‘mini’ textbook chapter. In your report, please include each of the following selected sections (as noted on page 6 of your textbook). Background: Please provide a brief historical and geographical context relating to the people of your selected culture, with an emphasis on health. This section should be at least two robust paragraphs or up to one page. As with all of the following sections, please look to your textbook for an example of what type of information to provide here. For example, it would be good to include any history of colonization, climate, geography, etc. which influenced the traditional food choices of your country. Traditional Food Practices: In ~2-4 paragraphs, please address the traditional culinary practices and popular foods of your culture.
• Meal Planning: Please describe the typical breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks of your culture. Nutrition Analysis: Please give your overall assessment of the nutritional quality of the meals and foods traditionally consumed in ~1-2 paragraphs. Climate Change Influences: In ~1-2 paragraphs, please write how you believe climate change might influence the sustainability of your country’s traditional food culture. Food dictionary: Please provide a list of at least three traditional foods or the names of a particular national or regional ‘mixed’ dish, along with their definition or description. Please see the back of a chapter of your textbook for guidance. Reference list: Please provide a reference list at the end of your document, as done in your textbook chapters. Please review your paper and make sure your grammar is correct and comprehensible. Please correct if not. Remember, the work you submit is a reflection of you!
