The given dataset is a repeated cross$-$section of NFHS dataset from rounds $2015-16$ and $2019-21$

of all women aged $18$ to $49$ from Bihar and Jharkhand. We plan to estimate the effect of the alcohol

ban implemented in Bihar in $2016$ on intimate partner violence $($ipv index variable$)$ in the state.

We consider Jharkhand as the control state in our analysis. The dataset contains relevant variables

that are related to IPV prevalence. Conduct a DiD study to estimate the effect. Most variables

are self$-$explanatory. Bihar represents a dummy with a value of $1$ for all observations from Bihar

and $0$ for observations from Jharkhand. Religion $=1$ for Hindus and $0$ otherwise. Caste$=1$ for

reserved categories and $0$ otherwise. Place of residence is $1$ for urban and $0$ otherwise. District is

each district$$s unique identifier number.
