The increase cost of meat has forced the company to raise the prices, and this was determined to be the one cause of sales decline. To counteract, a decision was made to introduce a new line of vegan friendly frozen pies. Mr. Sea, at the Calgary office, is a manager in the company. He believes that assessing the company and the new product line using Michael Porter's 5 forces shaping competitive advantage model can assist in a decision making.
