The Government has a unique ability to terminate a contractor for convenience. Several of the cases out there discuss this broad remedy which is available to the Government given its unique status as a sovereign entity. That said, has this remedy outlived its usefulness? Is it too broad? Should it be scaled back or changed in any manner?
