The Green Bank Telescope is a single dish radio telescope with several different radio receivers.

For each, use the radiometer equation to calculate the minimum noise floor in Janskys for a

$10$ minute observation. $($We can convert a variation in Kelvin to a variation in Janskys by

dividing by the antenna gain $G.$ For GBT$,G=2\frac{K}{J}y.$

$($a$)$ The $342-MHz$ prime focus receiver, which observes at frequencies from $0\mathrm{.}290-0\mathrm{.}395MHz$

and has a system temperature $60K.$

$($b$)$ The L$-$band receiver, which observes at frequencies between $1\mathrm{.}15$ and $1\mathrm{.}73GHz$ and has

a system temperature $30K.$

$($c$)$ The X$-$band receiver, which observes at frequencies between $7\mathrm{.}8$ and $11\mathrm{.}6GHz$ and has

a system temperature of $35K.$

$($d$)$ The Ka$-$Band $($MM$-$F$1)$ receiver, which observes at frequencies between $26\mathrm{.}0$ and $31\mathrm{.}0$

$GHz$ and has system temperature $40K.$
