The Human Relations movement gained significant traction due to the results of the Hawthorne Studies. The findings of this research demonstrated for the first time that the real potential of workers had yet to be tapped by managers. As a result, companies began to focus more attention on the satisfactions and dissatisfactions of their employees holding more positive attitudes about their job.
