The specific requirements of the mini case study to be developed for this assignment are as follows:

a. You are expected to write a mini case study based on a real or fictional organization that embarked on a strategic international expansion project into an African country.

b. The case study must briefly introduce the organization, its strategy, and explain the industry and country in which the company operates internationally.

c. This organization determined that the best strategy for delivering this expansion project is to partner with another organization that already has a footprint in the selected African country. Describe how the partnership was structured, critically evaluating whether the partnership worked well or whether there were challenges that impacted on the project.

d. You are expected to describe the process followed in the selection and appointment of a project manager who has the responsibility to deliver this project, and the associated authority enabling successful project delivery.

e. You are required to describe how the project manager managed a multicultural project team from the country of current operations, the chosen country of expansion, and project staff from other countries in the world.

f. The project experienced major challenges during the project delivery phase which resulted in the project board deciding that a project review is required. You are expected to explain how that project review was conducted, and a review report tabled to the project board
