The Internet is too large to be controlled by one group, such as the government, and be fully protected because there are millions of ways for hackers to set up traps on the Internet that can't always be detected. This is why companies need to control how equipment at work is used to avoid giving hackers satisfaction. Many hackers place spyware and worms on various websites. All it takes is a mouse click on an ad or a link and a work computer can be compromised. Personnel data, customer information, passwords, and credit card numbers could be at risk\" (The Internet). It is almost impossible to tell just by looking if a website has a worm on it, which is why it is a company's responsibility to help the employees know what sites are dangerous to enter.
