• Health care providers may visit sites on the web to obtain information for delivering better patient care, access libraries of medical data and clinical alerts, perform research related to poisonings ornew medications, and look for results of clinical studies.
• Patients may visit websites to seek answers to their health care needs relating to their conditions, to register for clinical trials, learn about their prescriptions and/or treatments, or to purchase durable medical equipment.
• Some organizations are now actively engaging in electronic healthpractice, known as e-Health. These organizations are known ase-health organizations.
