The introduction of VMI would, in my opinion as a project manager, be more beneficial than any of the hazards that have been identified. In the event that it was agreed to continue forward with VMI, a risk management plan would need to be put into place. This is because risk management would assist both organizations in lowering the overall risk of the project to a level that is acceptable to the project team, leadership, and all stakeholders who are involved and affected by the project?
