The main factor limiting the capacity of our supply chain is the lack of an efficient ERP system. We are a construction company formed by three different companies as a single contractor to build the border bridge. The three companies didn't reach an agreement in the beginning on which ERP system to use. So, they decided to give up using any system. As a result, we are following the traditional way to document the information flow of all the processes. This has been causing lots of delay and repeated work. It is one of the major factors affecting the project progress. It is not easy to add a modern ERP system now since this will require the coordination from all the departments from all the three companies and it will be very complicated to move all the PDF data into this system now. And the investment of the ERP system can be huge and it won't be used a lot when the project is completed. Maybe, ROI is not good to add this now
