The material I learned throughout the course of this class has taught me that if I want to get ahead and stay there I must do two things. The two things I believe that can help me is analyzing and taking a deeper look at myself. Most companies have analyzing tools to help them become successful and they also use the SWOT process to understand where their company stands. My strategic plan has always been to learn something new everyday and even though it might not be a strategic plan it has served its purpose for years. Within my life, the plan I had come up with initially was, to earn my bachelor's degree in accounting and start my own tax service. This might still be the plan but so far my plan has led me to finish my degree plan, show my daughters that no matter what you can always go back to school, and gave me the confidence to switch jobs after 15 years and go into the corporate world.
