Below is a process-flow chart for the production process of Excellent Manufacturing, Inc. Currently, the process is being used to make ePod, a multimedia player. Production time (per unit) at each station of the process is provided on the diagram. The process starts operating at 8 am each day and needs to make 120 ePods each day. A unit raw material in "RM" is released to "resource A (Machining stage)" every 5 minutes until all of the 120 units are finished. Each station in the process remains working until all the work is finished for the day.
