The Miami Marlins hierarchy and organizational structures are usually the same as all major sports teams. And is divided into four areas the owners are always going to be at the top, and next would be everyone that has bought into that team we will say the executives. Then it would be the managers of the team and then the team. What I like about the Marlins is that they go position by position not age or race. If you can play that position and you are 60 then you will play. The hierarchy and structure do support the needs of the team, they are a family. The owner Mr. Derek Jeter comes out to the practices, he commentates on some of the games, and he is involved with every decision that is made. He has played the game for years, so he not only has learned the business, but he knows the game as well. He knows about making fair decisions based on the players and not just about making money. He works diligently with the other executives and makes sure that everyone is treated fairly and that everyone is eligible to play
