The modern telehealth has been the greatest healthcare invention compared to the others because it seems this has affected everyone around the world with improving their healthcare. Telehealth is used world wide currently and it has provided access to healthcare to people who may have never had it before. The convenience of telehealth technology has provided less hospitalizations and sick patients overall due to the access of medical care through the modern telehealth. In my current job as an ACO team lead of my company I can see the effect of telehealth on the medical field through our patients that are getting better care. Patients can now schedule visits over video or phone calls to ensure they are getting the care they need, when before some of those patients may have put their health to the side due to the inconvenience or the availability in the doctor's office. Whatever the case, telehealth has shown that everyone can receive care quickly and more accurately with the patient and doctor relationship being only clicks away through the telehealth communications. Telehealth has positively contributed to profit margin because the more patients that have access to telehealth communications, the more profits the company will accumulate because of the amount of patients receiving more care than ever before. Then, the telehealth also creates an environment that will save money for the company due to the absence of certain resources that are needed in an office setting. Altogether, the telehealth communications has transformed the healthcare system into a more convenient and successful place for patients to receive medical care.
