The Monitoring the Future (MTF) study, also known as the National High School Senior Survey, is a long-term epidemiological study that surveys trends in legal and illicit drug use among American adolescents and adults. Mohammed decided to use the survey as a research tool to measure his students' approval of Vaping. He asked students to report their perception of Vaping use before and after they were subjected to graphic images of the side-effects of Vaping. Vaping approval use was measured on a scale 1 to 25, where 1 means highly agree and 25 means strongly disagree.
