The most productive application linear programming can be used for in operations is to measure output. The work culture tends to be team-oriented, with much dependence on one another. With this accrued data it would be able to tell me who is succeeding the most in operations and who is the least. This helps optimize the workload and roles better for the employees. You don't want to put any of your team members in situations where they can't succeed. From there, I can optimize the correct roles and use forecasted data which should correlate or be similar if done correctly. If the forecasted data exceeds what a employee can handle based on their 'data', I would allocate resources or employees elsewhere.
