The next issue I see is the inquiry concerning U.S. citizenship. The Immigration Reform andControl Act of 1986 outlaws hiring discrimination based on citizenship or immigration status.Furthermore, Title VII prohibits discrimination based on national origin. As such, I wouldexclude this question and replace it with a "statement that employment is subject to verificationof applicant's identity and employment eligibility under immigration laws," (Noe, 2022). Inaddition, questions about gender present another sensitive area. An applicant's sex is usuallynot job related and asking for that information could be a liability under Title VII (EqualEmployment Opportunity Commission, 2022). Considering that a bona fide occupationalqualification is unlikely, I would remove that question entirely
