The oil delivery tanker M/V Old Oil, while delivering oil to the H.V Petar Barge at anchorage, collided with the barge causing extensive damage to both the barge and tanker. As a result of the collision oil spilled from the tanker, polluting the navigable waters surrounding the area. Maverick the Salvors were in the vicinity and went to the assistance of the barge but did not prevent it from sinking in the concrete dam which was constructed to house the barge. Maverick thereafter went to the assistance of the tanker but despite their efforts they could not salve the oil that escaped. The oil slick drifted and clouded areas in the Harbour, sticking to mangroves and fishermen canoes which were docked along the shoreline. The crew eventually patched the hull of the tanker thus preventing any more oil from escaping. They then sailed the vessel (with the assistance of a Marine Pilot) and safely docked the tanker at the nearby Harbour Drydocks where repaired were successfully undertaken. The owners of the tankers cannot be found. You are required to: - a. Identify as many issues that may arise from the events in this question b. Advise the masters M/V Old Oil , H.V Petar Barge, the owners of Maverick, the crew of all the ships, the fishermen and the Pilot of their rights and liabilities
