The One Acre Fund provides seeds and fertilizer to small farmers in Kenya. For this exercise, there are six farmers the Fund is supplying from one wharehouse. The farmer's requirments are listed in Table $1.$ The fund hires trucks and drivers to deliver the seeds and fertilizer. There are six trucks available for hire. They are of different sizes and costs. The six trucks with their capacities and costs are listed in Table $2.$ Since the farmers are far apart, no truck can deliver to more than two faremrs. The truck cost is a cost for the day, and it is the same if the truck delivers to just one farmer ot to two on the delivery day. Each farmer is visited by only one truck. One truck will deliver the full requirments to a farmer. But any truck can deliver up to two farmers on its route for the day. The fund would like to minimize the cost of delivering seeds and fertilizer to the six farmers.
