Tyler, Texas is a small community in eastern Texas, with a population of approximately 120,000. Tyler is well-known for its beautiful flowers, especially roses. One of its famous residents is Earl Campbell, a former NFL star affectionately known as the Tyler Rose. According to Coca-Cola (2022), "The Coca-Cola Company and 64 independent bottlers, collectively known as the Coca-Cola system, contributed $57.8 billion to the nation's economy in 2022." At the local level, Coca-Cola sponsors events like cancer awareness 5K walks and the Brookshires 5K walk. They also provide sponsorship to schools and recreational parks. The benefits of this involvement include supporting the community and maintaining brand awareness across different generations. The social and economic impact of Coca-Cola on the community has both benefits and consequences. These effects shape not only my perception but also that of others towards the organization. Coca-Cola has numerous benefits for the community, the company contributes to the local economy by creating job opportunities and stimulating economic growth. This leads to an improved standard of living for individuals in the community. Additionally, Coca-Cola often engages in philanthropic activities, such as supporting education and healthcare initiatives, which positively impacts the community and enhances the organization's reputation.
