The organization that I chose to do the financial analysis project on was Southwest Airlines. One of the reasons I found Southwest Airlines to be appealing for financial analysis is due to recent events in the news regarding airlines and how they operate. I wanted to take a closer look into its financial operations and understand their ideas and approach to stand out and make a difference. After reviewing Southwest Airlines approach on customer service I feel confident that they will help perform other organizations within their industry. Southwest Airlines does an excellent job in trying to simplify their finances such as minimizing maintenance on their craft by ensuring that they have consistent models and by ensuring they have low priced tickets to consistently attract customers. While these tricks may be simple they can be excellent in keeping costs to a minimum and can help provide a simple model to keep a flow of funds incoming
