The owner of Everything Wine hires you to advise him on setting up a database for his many stores in Vancouver. You are a knowledge worker and you have studied Busi 237. You recommend he buy MS Access and a new desktop computer for his head office. The owner wants to learn how to set up the database by himself and he asks you to explain to him the basics of creating a database himself. You recommend that he use three tables and you briefly explain how to make a relationship between the tables by explaining the connections between the fields.

Once the tables and the relationships are created the owner is very interested in creating his own queries but finds it a bit confusing. You explain to him how to prepare a simple query to find all the customers who purchased his popular wine called BC Bright Red.

A few months later the owner calls on you again. He is very concerned about database security at his head office. He tells you that too many people have access to his database and he wants better control over that. You explain to him the tools available in MS Access to accomplish this.
