The pandemic has brought many across the U.S to really start thinking about exploring the world. A trend is gaining steam lately and it is Solo Travel. This trend is about a decade old, but during the post-covid era, we are seeing more and more individuals willing to travel alone. It is estimated today to see 50% of travelers are Solo. One of the reluctances about Solo traveling is the fear of being alone. There have been many challenges associated with Solo traveling. Besides the unknown, we also have seen some cost associated with it. Traveling companies seem to charge extra. Across all demographics, 85% of solo travelers are women. A shift is happening lately in individuals allocating a portion of their income toward traveling and this is not going to stop. "As people are living longer, they have disposable income." Many have also come to realize that you do not necessarily need to retire to start experiencing the world as you might not even enjoy it as much as you would like in your old age.
