The performance level of a building after the construction of an addition or renovations shall: be equal to the performance level determined by evaluating the objectives and functional statements attributed to the current requirements of the Ontario Building Code. be equal to the performance level expected by reviewing the Ontario Building Code requirements that were applicable at the time of the construction of the original building. be equal to the performance level of the building prior to the construction or renovation. be increased by a minimum of 15%
