The principles of MI also relate to the macro-level approach to change management. In system-wide organizational change, the process of diagnosis, planning, developing readiness, and adoption of change requires that organization members exert considerable dedication of time, efforts, and other organizational resources towards these activities. Based on the notion of having the whole system in the room, large group methods such as appreciative inquiry, future search, open space technology, and world cafe rapidly gather information from different sectors of the organization.
